Basic Policy

Noop, LLC. (the Company) handles the personal information it obtains through this website (noop.co.jp, the Site) appropriately and in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other applicable laws and guidelines. This policy sets out how personal information is handled on the Site.

The Site is primarily an informational site for receiving inquiries. It does not provide member registration, product sales, online payment, or similar functions.

Article 2

Information We Collect

We collect the following information on the Site.

Information you enter in the contact form: your name, company name, email address, telephone number, inquiry type, and the content of your inquiry (the details you enter).
Information transmitted automatically when you view or submit on the Site: access logs such as your IP address, environment information including browser type and language, access date and time, and referrer.

We do not collect special-care personal information such as beliefs or medical history, nor information such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or driver's license numbers. Please do not enter information beyond what is necessary for your inquiry.

Analytics on the Site use a cookie-free method. However, functions used to prevent fraudulent submissions (bot protection) may use cookies or similar technologies to the extent necessary for their operation.

Article 3

Purposes of Use

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

To respond to and handle inquiries, and to contact you as necessary.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, and to understand how it is used.
To prevent nuisance activity, spam, unauthorized access, and the like, and to suppress or reject submissions that fall under such categories and prevent their recurrence. For this purpose, we may retain the sender's email address, telephone number, and similar information for a necessary period.
To respond as required by law, and for other purposes incidental to those above.

Except where we have obtained your consent in advance or where permitted by law, we do not use personal information beyond the scope of the purposes above.

Article 4

Use of External Services and Entrustment

In operating the Site (hosting, prevention of fraudulent submissions, analytics, delivery of inquiry emails, and the like), we use services provided by external providers. Accordingly, we may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to these contractors within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.

The contractors referred to above may include providers located outside Japan, in which case personal information may be provided to third parties in foreign countries. We exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over our contractors.

In all cases, we do not allow the content of your inquiry to be used for the sales or other purposes of third parties beyond the scope necessary to respond to and handle it.

Article 5

Provision to Third Parties

Except in the following cases, we do not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining your consent in advance.

Where required by laws and regulations.
Where it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent.
Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a party entrusted by them in carrying out affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent is likely to impede those affairs.

Provision accompanying the entrustment set out in the preceding article, and provision accompanying the succession of a business, do not constitute provision to third parties above.

Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, and Suspension

If you request disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (collectively, "disclosure, etc.") of the personal information we hold about you, we will, after confirming your identity, respond without delay in accordance with the law.

Please direct requests for disclosure, etc. to the contact point in Article 10. We do not charge a fee for disclosure, etc.

Article 8

Retention Period

We retain the personal information we obtain only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and we strive to erase or anonymize it without delay after the period has elapsed or the purpose has been achieved. However, where retention is required by law, or is necessary to prevent the recurrence of nuisance activity or improper use, we may continue to retain it to the extent necessary.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy in response to changes in laws or in the operation of the Site.
Except where we make material changes, the revised policy takes effect when posted on the Site. The most current version is always posted on this page.
